Daylight Savings Sunset

With the recent time change I am now able to shoot photos after work. Last week during work I noticed some nice clouds, I knew that it would be a good day to go shoot the sunset. Here is a sample of what I was able to capture. While I was shooting the sunset, this huge roll cloud formed over me. It was gone within a couple minutes!

Throwback Thursday “Jetty Sunset”

My TBT (Throwback Thursday) for this week is another photo from 2014 taken on Honeymoon Island in Dunedin, Florida. This time around I was looking for a new spot, after driving around the park for 20 minutes I decided to park in a different lot and stumbled upon this jetty. Throwback Thursday “Honeymoon Island Storm”

Honeymoon Island State Park – Dunedin, Florida

One of my favorite shoots last year took place at Honeymoon Island State Park, Honeymoon Island is located in Dunedin, Florida. The island was first discovered by Spanish Explorers in 1530, the first known visitors recorded were from the Tocobaga Tribe. In 1880 the island had received its first name “Hog Island” and it wasn’t until the 1940’s that it was officially known as Honeymoon Island. How crazy is that?!?
