St. Petersburg, Florida – Festivals of Speed 2015

I had the pleasure of going to the Festivals of Speed in St. Petersburg, Florida, I captured over 300 photos and I will be editing them later this week. All photos were taken handheld with my Sony A6000 & SEL1018 lens (3 bracketed exposures, merged with Photomatix & finished in Lightroom).     Thanks for checking out my page, if you like my work please share this with your friends!

Sunset from Al Palonis Park

I captured this beautiful photo a few weeks back. I was waiting to share this in hopes that I would find the SD card that had all the shots from this set but had no such luck. The sun lined up perfectly with this little tree, poor thing is struggling to survive. As always, thanks for looking & feel free to share!

I really liked how the S. H. Kress and Co. Building Logo looked, everything else just Read More +

Morning Dew at Safety Harbor, Florida

Yesterday I was able to make in time to capture the sunrise, I also messed around with a few macro shots with my kit lens (SELP1650). I did not have enough time to switch lenses otherwise I would have used my dedicated macro lens (SEL30M35). The image above is 3 bracketed exposures shot handheld, yes handheld. I have been using this technique to get angles that would otherwise very difficult with a tripod and I have gotten some great shots that way. Let me know Read More +
